Shuffle not loading? Every error explained

Shuffle not loading usually means one of four things: your network is blocking the address, a Cloudflare check is stuck, the page loaded but a game or stream did not, or Shuffle is telling you it does not accept your country. Match what you see to the sections below and you will know which fix applies.

What you see and what it means

Before changing settings, note exactly what the screen shows. Each symptom points somewhere different.

If the problem is on shuffle.com only, an address from the list above will usually load straight away, because Shuffle runs the same site on several domains with the same login and balance. If every address fails, check is Shuffle down for a live status reading before you troubleshoot your own device.

Timeouts, DNS blocks and government notices

The most common reason Shuffle is not loading is that something between you and the site is stopping the connection. Two very different things look the same on screen: a network or ISP fault, and a deliberate block by a government.

Government blocks

Some countries order ISPs to block unlicensed gambling domains. Two documented cases for Shuffle:

  • Estonia. shuffle.com resolves through Estonian ISPs to the tax authority's (EMTA) blocking address, and the connection simply times out.
  • Thailand. The digital economy ministry blocked shuffle.com nationwide on 9 October 2026, and Shuffle now tells Thai visitors it can no longer accept players from Thailand.

Other countries, such as Colombia and Chile, run broad block lists of unlicensed sites. A block ordered by your government reflects local law. We do not recommend working around it, and Shuffle's terms exclude anywhere its use is unlawful or would need a local licence.

Network and ISP faults

Where Shuffle accepts players and nothing prohibits you from playing, a timeout is more often a routing or resolver fault, a filter on a work or school network, or a single domain having trouble.

  • Try another official address. Shuffle runs the same site on several domains, so one failing does not mean all do. Our verified domains page lists the hosts checked to serve the genuine site, and why mirror domains change explains the pattern.
  • Switch network. Mobile data and home broadband use different routes; if one works, the other has the fault.
  • Restart the router and flush your device's DNS cache to clear a stale lookup.

A mirror helps when a working address is blocked or slow on your network. It does not change who Shuffle accepts, and it is not a way around the law where you live.

Endless spinner or blank white page

If the domain resolves but the page never finishes, the cause is usually on your device.

  1. Hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R, or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac).
  2. Clear cache and cookies for that address only. A stale script from an old version of the site can stop the new one starting.
  3. Disable extensions for the site, especially ad blockers, script blockers and crypto wallet extensions that inject code into pages.
  4. Try a private window. If it works there, an extension or saved data is the culprit.
  5. Update the browser. Shuffle is a modern web app and old browsers can fail silently.
  6. Check the date and time on your device. A badly wrong clock breaks secure connections and logins.

On phones, Shuffle runs in the browser; there is no store app. If you added it to your home screen, remove and re-add it after clearing site data. Our app not working guide covers the home-screen version in more detail.

Cloudflare errors and verification loops

shuffle.com and some of its mirrors sit behind Cloudflare, which checks visitors before letting them through.

  • "Verify you are human" that never completes. Allow cookies and JavaScript for the site, turn off privacy extensions, and make sure you are not on a shared or flagged IP. Corporate networks, public Wi-Fi and some mobile carriers trip this more often.
  • Error 1020 (access denied). A firewall rule blocked your request, often based on country or IP reputation. Try another network or another official mirror; some mirrors are hosted outside Cloudflare.
  • Errors 520 to 524. Cloudflare reached Shuffle's servers but got no good answer. This is on Shuffle's side. Wait a few minutes, check the live status reading, and try another address.
  • Error 1016 or 1001. A DNS problem at the Cloudflare edge, usually brief.

If a Cloudflare page appears on an address that is not on our verified list, be careful: phishing sites copy the look of these checks too.

Certificate warnings and connection resets

A browser warning that the connection is not private, or that the certificate is for a different site, is a red flag on a gambling domain.

  • On a public or hotel network, a captive portal may be intercepting the page. Log in to the network first.
  • In a country with DNS blocking, the block page may sit on a different certificate. That is the block, not Shuffle.
  • On an unknown address, the warning may mean an impostor. Do not click through, and never log in.

A connection reset (ERR_CONNECTION_RESET) or "connection lost" message usually points to a filter on your network or an unstable link. Shuffle's own interface shows "Connection lost. Check your connection and try again" when the live feed to the site drops; reconnecting and checking your pending bets is the right next step.

The site loads but the games do not

If the lobby works but a game hangs on its loading screen:

  • Third-party slots and live tables load from the provider's servers, not Shuffle's. A provider outage or block can stop one studio's games while everything else works. Try a Shuffle Original; those run on Shuffle's own platform.
  • "This game is not supported in your region" means the studio restricts that title where you are. Shuffle's message asks you to disable any VPN, because a VPN can trigger the restriction even where the game is allowed.
  • "Stream not available in your region" on a sports event is a broadcast rights limit; the betting market still works.
  • Live tables stutter. Lower the stream quality and close other tabs. See our live casino guide.
  • Everything is slow, not broken. That is a different problem, covered on is Shuffle slow.

The "not available in your country" message

Shuffle shows its own notices when it detects a location it does not serve: "Due to licensing restrictions, access to Shuffle from your current location is restricted", or for US visitors a pointer to the separate Shuffle.us sweepstakes site.

This is not a loading fault, and switching mirrors will not change it, because every mirror is the same site with the same rules. Shuffle's prohibited list (terms 8.3) includes Australia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, the UK, the US and several others. Using a VPN to get past the notice breaks clause 8.4 and can lead to a closed account and confiscated winnings.

If you live in an accepted country and see the notice by mistake, for example because your mobile carrier routes traffic abroad, contact live support. Shuffle's message for this case asks residents of non-restricted countries to get in touch and, if needed, submit proof of address. Our country guide shows where Shuffle accepts players.

Other casinos down too?

If Shuffle and other crypto casinos all fail to load at once, the problem is probably your network or a wider block. Our sister sites track the same thing for other brands: check whether Stake is down right now, see the live Roobet status page, or look up whether Gamdom is down.

FAQ

Why is Shuffle not loading?

The usual causes are a network or ISP fault, a government block on the domain, a stuck Cloudflare check, a browser cache or extension problem, or Shuffle's own region restriction. Trying another official mirror quickly tells you whether one domain is the problem.

Is shuffle.com blocked in my country?

Shuffle.com is blocked by the authorities in Estonia and was blocked in Thailand in October 2026, and some countries block unlicensed sites in bulk. A government block reflects local law and should be respected; where Shuffle accepts players and only one domain fails, a network fault is more likely.

Do Shuffle mirrors use the same account?

Yes. Official mirrors are the same site with the same login, balance, 2FA and VIP progress. Only use addresses you have verified, because look-alike domains exist.

Why does Shuffle show a Cloudflare check that never ends?

Cloudflare may not trust your IP or cannot set its cookie. Allow cookies and JavaScript, turn off privacy extensions, or switch network. If it persists, try a mirror hosted elsewhere.

Why will a game not load on Shuffle when the site does?

Third-party games load from the provider, which can have outages or regional restrictions. If Shuffle says the game is not supported in your region, it is the studio's licensing; a VPN breaks Shuffle's terms.

Can a mirror get around Shuffle's country restrictions?

No. Every mirror runs the same rules, and Shuffle does not accept players from its prohibited list. Using a VPN to hide your location breaches the terms and can lead to account closure.

Is Shuffle down or is it just me?

Check our live status page, which probes every official address. If all addresses are down, it is Shuffle; if only one fails for you, it is your network or a block.

Does Shuffle have an app I can use instead?

There is no native app in the app stores. Shuffle runs in the mobile browser and can be added to your home screen, so browser fixes apply to it as well.
